At exactly which point does asset bundle cache get cleaned up. I am assuming Unity does not have a service running all the time to clean it up exactly when it expires but I don't know.
I am specifically asking because I want to know that if I check my asset bundle cache (Caching.GetCachedVersions) on start up, I can assume that unless I change it, it will remain the same. That an item can not expire while the application is running.
So I am guessing its checked at application start up, shut down or on method access. Any help will be welcome, but would love an official word from Unity.
